Impulse Coolant Flow Restrictor
Makes engines used for performance or towing run 50°C (90°F) COOLER
Impulse coolant flow restrictor features a small tapered hole to circulate the water through the cooling system at a low flow rate of 23 L/min (5 gpm) from idle to peak rpm. This allows the radiator more time to cool the water which keeps the water temperature below a cool 50°C (122°F) when used in conjunction with the parts of the Negative Supercharging Cooling System. The Impulse coolant flow restrictor has a 38mm (1.5") OD, is made from brass for longevity and should be inserted into the top radiator hose and secured with the hose clamp supplied.
To find out if your engine is fitted with the correct combination of cooling system parts needed to work with the Impulse coolant flow restrictor to make the engine run this cool, see Negative Supercharging Cooling System
DO NOT use any thermostat with the Impulse coolant flow restrictor.
