Exhaust Header Covers

Directs more heat from headers into Thermocharger air cleaner housing during cold weather to produce a hotter air induction temperature and more power

Negative Supercharging header cover wraps around the exhaust header and the wings of the Thermocharger air cleaner housing to allow the Thermocharger to collect more heat from the headers. The header cover is made from polished stainless steel and is fastened to each end of the header flange with heavy duty U-spring clips made from stainless spring steel. This allows the header cover to be easily removed and replaced in seconds.

The header cover allows the Thermocharger to produce a hotter air induction temperature during cold weather which makes the engine,
  1. Produce more power the hotter the air induction temperature up to 121°C (250°F)
  2. Improve fuel economy by vapourising more of the fuel
  3. Reach its operating temperature from a cold start in half the time of conventional engines which reduces emissions and engine wear

NOTE
For hot air induction to produce more power, the water temperature of the engine MUST be kept below 50°C (122°F) with our new cooling system. For more details see Negative Supercharging Cooling System
