IMPORTANT
The following performance or heavy duty parts MUST be used with the Basic Kit to improve the durability of the engine and transmission to handle the massive increase in torque produced from idle. Failure to use the parts with the Basic Kit will damage the engine and transmission.

• Valve Stem Collets - hardened with a .020" gap between collets when fitted to valve stem.
• Valve Spring Retainers - chromemoly
• Valve Springs - heavy duty single springs with 110 lbs seat @ 1.700" lift and 300 lbs open @ 1.200" lift
• Rocker Shaft Bolts - hi-tensile grade 8
• Oil Sump Baffle Plate
• Double Roller Timing Chain Set
• Auto Trans Shift Kit
• Cold Spark Plugs - see Negative Supercharging Technical Manual for correct temperature plugs
• Exhaust Header Gaskets - high exhaust pressure and temperature paper/steel gaskets
